Job summary

Community Teamwork in Lowell, MA seeks a Residential Counselor for evening and overnight shifts at a new women’s shelter. This full-time role supports families, enforces safety, and applies trauma-informed, client-centered approaches to daily life skills and program rules.

You will complete intakes, assist with housing logistics, maintain logs, coordinate orientation for new clients, and help with housekeeping and meal-related tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• Excellent customer service, organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills in basic computer software and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Assist in completing screening, intakes activities and orientation of new families.
• Maintain all necessary shift logs and house-keeping duties.
• Enforces safety measures and program rules using trauma-informed approach.
• Provide day-to-day life skills assistance and coordinate orientation for new clients.
