Job summary

Firefly Children & Family Alliance is seeking a part-time Outpatient Therapist in Indianapolis, IN to support outpatient services. The role involves counseling individuals, families, and groups, maintaining clinical documentation, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The position requires facilitating three evening Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOT) group sessions per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in relevant field and licensure pursuit
• 3+ years’ experience in child development, attachment issues, and trauma-informed care
• Experience working with abuse/neglect and family dynamics; strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling to individuals, families and groups to achieve treatment goals related to trauma healing and caregiver Attachment
• Guide clients through counseling methods to meet client-set goals and organizational objectives
• Maintain standards per professional licenses and regulatory requirements
• Use referrals from Department of Child Services and other institutions; complete monthly reports and document interactions
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments to determine level of need and best intervention
