Job summary

Cooper Electric Supply, LLC., part of the Sonepar group, seeks a Warehouse Supervisor in Cranbury, NJ to oversee Dematic-operated picking/packing lines and lead team leaders and staff. You will train workers, balance staffing, and coordinate with maintenance to keep the system running, while maintaining safety and accuracy in order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
• Attention to detail and good time management skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to prioritize needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to exercise safety while carrying out all job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision to team leaders and warehouse associates who are assigned to pick and pack orders utilizing Dematic warehouse automation.
• Ensure that staff is appropriately trained in picking/packing, and quality control.
• Balance staffing needs while fulfilling customer orders
• Work closely with our maintenance mechanics to ensure that Dematic system is fully operational.
• Communicate status updates throughout the evening with the other shift supervisors and managers.
• Motivate employees to meet productivity goals and efficiency goals.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
