Job summary

Cooper Electric Supply, LLC is seeking a warehouse supervisor to oversee team leaders and warehouse staff in a large distribution center. You will ensure accurate picking/packing, quality control, and safety while coordinating with maintenance for the Dematic system.

The role requires strong knowledge of shipping/receiving, attention to detail, and clear written/verbal communication. Full-time with competitive benefits within the Sonepar group.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision to team leaders and warehouse associates who are assigned to pick and pack orders utilizing Dematic warehouse automation.
• Ensure that staff is appropriately trained in picking/packing, and quality control.
• Balance staffing needs while fulfilling customer orders.
• Work closely with our maintenance mechanics to ensure that Dematic system is fully operational.
• Communicate status updates throughout the evening with the other shift supervisors and managers.
• Motivate employees to meet productivity goals and efficiency goals.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• The ability to stand and walk for the full length of the assigned shift.
• The ability to lift, push, and pull material and objects weighing up to 50 lbs. and heavier weights with proper equipment.
• The ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climbto perform various duties.
• The ability to safely operate appropriate powered industrial trucks. Training will be provided.
• This job is performed in a large distribution center warehouse environment.
• Ability to operate computers and/or relevant warehouse computer software.

Salary Range: $70k

Location: Cranbury, NJ

Work Hours: Monday-Friday 3pm start
