The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in warehouse shipping or logistics, a high school diploma or higher, experience with WMS/ERP and shipping software, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or higher preferred.
• 2-4 years in warehouse shipping, logistics, or distribution operations.
• Experience with WMS/ERP systems and shipping software.
• Strong knowledge of shipping procedures, freight carriers, and logistics operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily outbound shipping activities to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Prepare and review shipping documentation including bills of lading, packing lists, and carrier labels.
• Schedule shipments with carriers and arrange freight pickups.
• Communicate with internal teams regarding shipping status and issues.
• Verify orders for accuracy before shipment, ensuring correct quantities and packaging.
• Monitor shipment tracking and resolve delivery issues or delays.
• Maintain shipping records and update WMS/ERP systems.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and shipping standards.
• Assist with inventory checks related to outbound shipments.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to prioritize urgent or expedited orders.
• Identify opportunities to improve shipping efficiency and reduce costs.
