Job summary

PITT OHIO is hiring a Full Time Dockworker- Outbound at our Cinnaminson, NJ location. The role involves loading/unloading freight, handling materials, and ensuring safe, compliant operations with DOT guidelines. Mon-Fri, 5 PM start, with competitive pay and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Must pass a NON -Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
• Must consent to a pre-employment drug screen. PITT OHIO must receive a negative result.
• Must have the ability to read and write the English language and also perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Must consent to a ten-year check on work history. Any gap of 30 days or more must be indicated and explained, and you may be asked to provide documentation.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight according to DOT requirements on and off of trucks by hand or by use of hand truck or dolly.
• Sort and secure items in position on trucks or dock to prevent damage.
• Use carts, dollies, pallet jacks, and tow motors for material handling.
• Stand, walk, push, pull, twist, carry, bend, reach, and lift as required, including heavy lifting.
• Work in a safe, professional manner to minimize risks and comply with regulations.
• Process all paperwork daily related to job execution and stay available to work as directed.
