HCA Florida Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room in Jacksonville, FL. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered perioperative care with a focus on safety and workflow efficiency.

Responsibilities include preop evaluation, patient and family education, IV therapy, medications, site verification, and interdisciplinary collaboration to improve surgical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Florida.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN with perioperative or OR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery.
• Provide patient and family education about the procedure and perioperative process.
• Oversee patient preparation including IV therapy and preoperative meds.
• Participate in surgical site verification and universal protocols.
• Monitor patient condition and document changes during shift.
