Job summary

Legends Global operates Maggie Daley Park in Chicago and seeks a Second Shift Operations Coordinator to lead evening and weekend operations. You will oversee two attractions, manage seasonal staff, and act as the on-site leader during operating hours to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.

Responsibilities include staffing, safety checks, incident documentation, and coordination with park leadership for smooth operations and timely responses to hazards.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in operations, recreation, facility management, or similar field.
• Supervisory experience with part-time or seasonal staff.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Maggie Daley Park Manager with interviews, hiring and scheduling of seasonal staff.
• Coordinate with park stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and clear communication.
• Train new hires on SOPs, safety protocols and customer service expectations.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.
• Ensure staff adherence to uniform, attendance, and conduct standards.
• Conduct daily safety checks of climbing wall, harnesses, belay systems, ice rink, and playground areas.
• Monitor incident reports, equipment concerns, and preventative safety measures.
• Support emergency response procedures in coordination with park leadership.
• Oversee cleaning, security and daily operational standards.
• Manage staffing levels to optimize coverage and budget alignment.
