Job summary

Legends Global is seeking enthusiastic Seasonal Guest Services staff for Maggie Daley Park's winter ice-skating season in Chicago. This part-time, non-exempt role supports guest services under the Guest Services Leader, helping with off-ice operations, events, and delivering a safe, welcoming experience for all visitors.

Shifts include early mornings, days, and evenings, with availability required through weekends.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• AED/CPR certification.
• Ability to work in cold weather and stand for long periods.
• Reliable transportation in all weather.
• Previous customer service or events experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, professional assistance.
• Share information about rink rules, skate rentals, park programs, and events.
• Enforce rink policies and promote safe behavior.
• Report incidents or unsafe conditions to supervisors.
• Fit, distribute, and collect rental skates and helmets.
• Maintain cleanliness of the rental area and equipment.
• Sanitize skates and gear between uses.
• Keep warming tents, lockers, and common spaces tidy and inviting.
• Manage lines and direct guest traffic for smooth flow.
• Assist with group activities and themed skate nights.
• Contribute to a festive and inclusive atmosphere during events.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
