Job summary

Maggie Daley Park is seeking enthusiastic Seasonal Guest Services staff for the winter ice-skating season in Chicago. You will greet guests, share information on rink rules and skate rentals, and help ensure a safe, memorable experience at the Ice-Skating Ribbon.

Work under the Guest Services Leader, assist with off-ice operations and events, and help maintain clean, organized areas. Excellent service, reliability, and punctuality are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in cold weather and in a fast-paced environment.
• AED/CPR Certification preferred.
• Experience in customer service, recreation, or events is preferred.
• Reliable transportation in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, professional assistance.
• Explain rink rules, skate rentals, park programs, and events.
• Assist with skate rentals, including fitting, distribution, and cleaning.
• Maintain cleanliness of rental area and equipment.
• Manage guest lines and direct traffic to ensure smooth flow.
• Support group activities and park programming and assist with events.
• Report incidents or unsafe conditions to supervisors.
