Job summary

City Wide Facility Solutions is seeking a Second Shift Manager to oversee evening operations across a portfolio of commercial facilities in the Inland Empire. The role focuses on field operations, independent contractor coaching, and delivering exceptional client service each evening.

You will collaborate with Facility Solutions Managers and other Second Shift Managers to ensure quality, safety, and customer satisfaction, while managing multiple priorities and maintaining strong relationships

Qualifications

• Previous second-shift or overnight management experience is required.
• Three or more years of management or supervisory experience.
• Experience coaching, motivating, and managing teams across multiple locations.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Positive, solution-oriented attitude with outstanding customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Commercial janitorial or facility services experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Independent Contractors by communicating expectations, providing coaching, and resolving issues.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure services meet client specifications and City Wide standards.
• Partner daily with Facility Solutions Managers and fellow Second Shift Managers to communicate client concerns, contractor performance, and priorities.
• Execute City Wide's New Start Policy, Customer Complaint Policy, STAR Policy, and other procedures.
• Manage client requests, service concerns, new client starts, and priority accounts requiring additional attention.
• Make recommendations regarding contractor assignments, performance improvement, and contractor replacement when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with client policies, cleaning specifications, safety requirements, and approved equipment and chemicals.
• Utilize City Wide's CRM to complete inspections, upload photos, document service issues, and maintain records.
• Represent City Wide professionally while building long-term relationships with clients and Independent Contractors.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational excellence.
