Job summary

PITT OHIO is seeking a PT Operations Admin Customer Service at our Eighty Four, PA location. The role communicates with customers, handles data entry, invoicing, and account receivables/payables, and supports supervisors, drivers, and dock staff.

The position requires strong English, interpersonal skills, and proficiency in MS Office. Prior logistics or customer service experience is a plus; night shift hours apply, with a focus on accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Command of the English language to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Previous experience in transportation industry and/or customer service is a plus.
• Experience with Haz-mat or worker’s compensation is also very helpful.
• Problem solving and analytical ability is essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Software products.
• Strong typing and ten key skills.
• Certain job duties within this classification require night shift hours.
• Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with internal and external customers by telephone, email, and fax about freight charges, pickups, tracking, and PODs.
• Data entry including scanning bills, P&D entry, fuel mileage, and payroll.
• Process paperwork and invoices; monitor checks and cash for A/R and A/P.
• Assist in processing Haz-mat information for loads departing or arriving at the facility.
• Interact with and support supervisors, drivers, and dock workers.
