Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Chaplain PRN to provide spiritual care and education to patients, families, and staff within the Florida hospitals. The role includes after-hours on-call coverage, with shifts from 4:00pm to 8:00am and evenings plus call.

Minimum qualifications include four CPE units, a Bachelor's degree with ministry experience, and ACPE credentialing eligibility. Preferred candidates hold a Master’s or higher and have strong collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

Satisfactory completion of a minimum of four (4) units of Clinical Pastoral Education.
Bachelor's degree, 3 years of ministry experience & satisfactory completion of one (1) or two (2) units of CPE with expectation to get four (4) CPEs within two (2) years of hire.
Credentialing, certification, or eligibility within two (2) years by a certifying organization or ACPE educator.
One (1) year of ministry experience.

Responsibilities

Provide education and consultation for physicians, nurses and other caregivers.
Provide spiritual care and counseling for patients, families and caregivers of all faith groups, ages and conditions.
Foster spiritual resources for healing.
