Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a PRN Chaplain for night and weekend coverage in Florida. The role focuses on providing pastoral care to patients, families, and staff, with on-call shifts that include nights and weekends and a maximum of 16 hours per week.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in theology, spiritual care or pastoral ministry.
Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 1 ACPE, Inc. accredited CPE unit required.
Minimum of 2 ACPE, Inc. accredited CPE units preferred.
Ordained Minister (ORDM) preferred; Board Certified Chaplain (BCC) preferred.
Ecclesiastical Endorsement Certificate (CHAPLAIN) preferred.

Responsibilities

Assesses, provides, and documents pastoral care to patients, families, and staff.
Provides spiritual care to local ministry and community through prayer and blessings.
Consults with patients, families, and medical staff on ethical decision making and referrals.
Plains, organizes, and evaluates the spiritual program with local ministry.
