Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Cafeteria Worker/Nutrition Assistant to support patient dining and nutrition services at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital. You will assist with meal selection, tray service, and patient nutrition support, while ensuring high standards of service and compliance with hospital procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Healthcare, patient-facing, food service, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections meeting prescribed diet requirements and personal preferences.
• Modify meal selections to comply with physician, dietitian, and nursing instructions.
• Ensure patients receive nourishment at each meal and communicate concerns to nursing staff.
