Job summary

UNC Rex Healthcare is seeking a Nursing Assistant I for a part-time evening role at Rex SNF Raleigh in Raleigh, NC. The position requires NC Nursing Assistant I licensure and BLS certification. Qualifications

• Requires Nursing Assistant I licensure with NC DHHS and BLS certification.
• Education: None required beyond licensure; experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs activities of daily living for residents/patients and provides care.
• Transports residents/patients within the facility as needed.
• Changes bed linens, runs errands, directs visitors, and answers telephone.
• Records vital signs and intake/output as directed.
• Ensures resident safety, privacy, and comfort during duties.
• Communicates resident/patient information to appropriate staff.
• Adheres to infection control regulations.
• Completes Rehabilitation and Nursing competencies annually.
• Completes 12 hours of in-service education annually.
• Responds to call bells and alarms to address resident needs.
