Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System in Omaha is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) for 24 or 36 hours per week, with night hours 6:45pm–7:15am at Methodist Hospital. A minimum commitment of 24 hours per week is required, with two 12‑hour or three 12‑hour shifts and weeknight availability.

The CNA provides patient care including hygiene, daily living activities, vital signs, safety, and comfort, and supports the care team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of CNA training as described above.
• 6 months Nurse Assistant experience preferred or eligible.
• High school students 16+ may apply per requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate patient care as outlined in plan of care.
• Assist with ADL and personal care.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort; monitor vital signs as delegated.
• Document data in Cerner/worksheets accurately and timely.
• Respond to call lights promptly and coordinate with care team.
