Nebraska Methodist Health System is hiring a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support patient care at Methodist Hospital in Omaha. The role requires assisting with personal hygiene, mobility, vital signs, and daily living activities on a rotating 12-hour shift schedule.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, completion of a CNA program or relevant experience, and be prepared for weekend rotation. BLS certification is preferred and benefits include tuition assistance and free parking.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of first clinical rotation as Nursing Assistant.
• Successful completion of the 75-hour state approved Nurse Assistant course or 6 months Nurse Assistant experience required.
• High school students 16 years or older who meet requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care and routine assistance, including personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Completes age-specific competency assessments and maintains patient comfort.
• Documents patient data accurately in Cerner or worksheets.
• Maintains a clean, safe patient environment and assists with transfers and ambulation.
