Job summary

The Bostonian in Dorchester, MA is seeking an Evening (3pm-11pm) Nurse Supervisor to lead our nursing team at the 121-bed facility. Join a team delivering short term rehab, long-term care and respite services.

You will supervise RNs and LPNs, welcome admissions and oversee discharges, coordinate patient referrals with admissions, and ensure high-quality resident care. Valid RN or LPN license and CPR certification required.

Qualifications

• Must possess valid unencumbered RN or LPN license and current CPR certification.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• One year of clinical nursing experience within a hospital, nursing care center or related healthcare setting.
• Experience in supervision and teaching; computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome new admissions and oversee discharges.
• Supervise and mentor nurses and CNAs to foster growth and learning.
• Manage staffing changes and scheduling.
• Support family inquiries and screen visitors.
• Coordinate patient/resident referrals with central admissions.
• Ensure high-quality resident/patient care.
