Job summary

Berkshire Health Systems is seeking an experienced nursing leader to direct hospital operations during evenings, nights and weekends. You will oversee inpatient units and all ancillary and support departments active during those hours.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field, Massachusetts RN license, and demonstrated leadership in acute care settings. BLS/ACLS are required, with PALS/TNCC preferred. Strong interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Business or Allied Health field required.
Massachusetts RN license required; BLS and ACLS required; PALS and TNCC preferred.
One year of leadership experience strongly preferred.
Experience in conflict resolution preferred.
Demonstrated ability to manage inpatient units and ancillary departments during evenings, nights and weekends.
Excellent interpersonal skills and fairness in applying policies and contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

Direct the operation of the hospital during evenings, nights, and weekends, including inpatient units and all ancillary and support departments that operate during these hours.
Provide leadership to ensure quality patient care and efficient operations.
Model clinical excellence and make prompt decisions in the clinical setting.
Support staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to handle emergencies and high-pressure situations.
Foster change management and staff development to motivate teams.
