Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provides sterile equipment and supplies to surgery and other departments as required, including decontamination, cleaning, sterilization and processing of supplies per guidelines.
• Demonstrates skill in preparation of surgical instruments and assembles instrument sets and trays accurately.
• Operates washers/disinfectors, ultrasonic machine and sterilizers safely and documents loads per standards.
• Performs quality assurance checks and reports potentially unsafe situations or malfunctioning equipment.
