Job summary

Baptist Health is hiring a Sterile Processing Technician for the Downtown location, evening shift 3:00pm–11:00pm. The role supports the Sterile Processing Department with instrument decontamination, packaging, and tray assembly.

Requirements include a High School Diploma and CRCST or CSPDT certification, with 1–2 years of instrument and linen processing experience and knowledge of regulatory protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and sterile processing credentials.
• 1–2 years instrument and surgical instrumentation experience.
• Linen processing experience and regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Understand principles of sterilization.
• Wrap instruments/linen properly and select correct supplies for sterilization.
• Able to prioritize duties.
• Decontaminate surgical instrumentation and re-assemble into trays, with knowledge of equipment.
