Job summary

WEG is hiring an Internal Assembler in Washington, Missouri, to contribute to transformer production. You will read BOMs and schematics, select and prepare materials, and perform assembly of specified parts, with occasional crane operation.

The role includes training new team members and maintaining quality records. Ideal candidates can read BOMs, perform basic math, and have US work authorization; evening/night shifts and limited overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand and interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs) and drawings.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics and computations.
• Demonstrate proficiency in basic English communications.
• Reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Washington, Missouri.
• Have current work authorization for employment within the United States.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and interpret BOMs, drawings, and work instructions to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Prepare materials, tools, and equipment to complete tasks.
• Assemble transformer parts and perform required assembly.
• Operate cranes and hoist as needed.
• Perform repairs inside or outside tanks and mentor new team members.
