Job summary

Lowell General Hospital is seeking an experienced RN II to provide direct nursing care to patients and families in accordance with established policies and procedures. The role involves 36 hours per week, evenings and nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) with weekend and holiday commitments on the main campus.

The ideal candidate holds Massachusetts RN licensure, 12 months to less than 3 years of RN experience, and a current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN Licensure is required.
• 12 months to <3 years RN experience.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Department-specific certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in performance improvement initiatives.
• Incorporates evidence-based practice into clinical care.
• Conducts accurate clinical assessments and documents findings.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates patient care plans.
• Uses nursing judgment to individualize care.
• Manages patient assignment and delegates appropriately.
• Develops patient and family education plans and documents them.
