Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living in Jacksonville, IL is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct, compassionate daily care to residents, assist with activities of daily living, and monitor health conditions with the care team.

This role requires availability for evenings and/or overnights, and a commitment to dignity and independence for residents. Prior CNA completion and CPR/BLS are preferred, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of an accredited CNA program required.
• One year of CNA experience preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, EHR systems, and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care needs including grooming, hygiene, and nutrition.
• Respond to signals from residents via bells or intercom quickly.
• Record vital signs and intake/output as directed.
• Transport and assist residents with mobility and dining.
• Encourage resident participation in activities and monitor wellbeing.
• Maintain clean, safe environment and communicate with care team.
• Follow Advance Directives and communicate with families.
