Job summary

Cedarhurst Living is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct care and support to our residents in a senior living community in Crown Point, Indiana. The CNA will assist with daily living activities, monitor health, and promote safety and well-being in a compassionate environment.

The role requires completion of an accredited CNA program, CPR/BLS (preferred), and 1 year of CNA experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited CNA program required.
• One year of experience as a CNA preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care needs, including grooming, hygiene, dressing, and nutrition.
• Take and record vital signs as directed.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and turning residents.
• Assist with meals and dining, including feeding support as needed.
• Encourage residents to participate in activities and social engagement.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition to the care team.
