Job summary

Meridian Senior Living in Effingham, IL is seeking a Care Partner/CNA for 2nd and 3rd shifts. The role provides direct daily care for residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and incontinence support.

Compassion, teamwork, and strong communication are essential as you maintain care records, report changes, and interact with residents, families, and staff in a supportive community setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• CNA license not required.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Must demonstrate the ability to work responsibly as a team member as well as an individual.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public.
• Must be honest, fair, dependable, respect confidentiality and the rights and privacy of others.
• Must meet all health requirements and pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care assisting residents in daily activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility and incontinence care.
• Keep proper care records and report any changes in resident’s conditions.
• Interact effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public.
