Job summary

The Refuge, operated by Acadia Healthcare, seeks a Behavioral Health Associate to provide safety, observation and support for clients in a forest-based facility near Ocala National Forest. This full-time role covers evening and overnight shifts with pay starting at $15.50 per hour, plus shift differentials for evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, documenting clinical information, and facilitating activities to support treatment goals.

Qualifications

• Six months or more experience working with behavioral health populations.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient safety and provide a structured environment.
• Conduct safety checks and monitor patients at regular intervals.
• Document clinical information accurately in patient records.
• Assist with activities of daily living and support patient education.
