Job summary

The Refuge, a Healing Place, is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for night shifts on a 96-acre Ocala National Forest campus. You will assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications, and work with an interdisciplinary team in a behavioral health program.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license as required by the state of employment or be eligible to practice nursing in accordance with state requirements.
• One year of nursing experience; psychiatric/behavioral or substance use nursing experience is a plus.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and their families about various physical and behavioral health conditions.
• Provide nursing care within the standards and scope of practice as defined by state regulations and facility policies.
• Administer medications as ordered and document accurately.
