Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field or RN credentials.
• Experience in intake, assessment and crisis intervention with psychiatric populations.
• Licensure: LCSW/LPC/LMFT/RN; CPR certification preferred.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention, risk assessment and crisis management.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone and walk-in risk assessment and crisis intervention.
• Initial contact with referral sources and potential patients.
• Coordinate referral and intake process.
• Determine appropriate level of care and assist admissions including insurance pre-certification.
• Maintain communication with referral sources, families, patients, and unit staff.
