Parkwood Behavioral Health System, a UHS facility, is seeking a full-time Admissions Coordinator for the evening shift. You will manage inquiries and walk-ins, perform assessments, and document information to support accurate referrals and admissions.

Ideal candidates hold a health/human services degree and have psychiatric experience with CPR certification. The role includes compassionate, efficient patient interactions and strict adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in health or human services preferred.
• One year prior psychiatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the flow of organization information and provides a responsive environment for customers via telephone and face to face.
• Receives calls and walk-ins with compassion, empathy, and a sense of service and urgency to ensure appropriate assessment by NARC or referral.
• Performs needs assessment calls, completes Inquiry Call form information, documents calls and related paperwork consistently with Parkwood’s philosophy.
