RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Multidiscipline Technician for Community Medical Center. This role supports nursing care in the Same Day Surgery department, providing direct patient care and assisting with plan of care from admission to discharge.

The position is hourly, 40 hours per week, Evening shift. Requires Multi-Technical program graduation, high school diploma or GED, and BLS certification. Acute care/ED experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Multi-Technical program.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient caregiver who assists the Registered Nurse.
• Provide patient care based on age, safety, and related criteria.
• Ensure safe transitioning and effective patient outcomes through judgment and action.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients and nursing staff.
