Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is hiring a Clinical Care Technician for Monmouth Medical Center's Medical & Surgical X unit. The role includes day shifts and focuses on direct patient care with telemetry-enabled rooms and specialized monitoring capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, current BLS certification, and preferred CNA or nursing assistant experience. You will document in EHR, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with nurses and therapists to ensure safe,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Nursing assistant experience or CNA certificate preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and deliver nursing care including vital signs and EKGs.
• Perform phlebotomy and assist with bedside care (bathing, mouth care, skin care).
• Document patient info accurately in EHR with confidentiality.
• Maintain infection control and coordinate care with the team.
• Provide CPR and BLS in emergencies and support patient safety.
