Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Clinical Care Technician for Community Medical Center.

Community Medical Center is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering area residents world-class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care. Opened in 1961, CMC has evolved into the state’s newest teaching hospital with four residency programs and Ocean County’s largest and most active health care facility caring for over 21,500 inpatients, 178,000 outpatients, and 73,700 emergency department patients each year.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • BLS required (American Heart Association).

Preferred:

  • Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program preferred.
  • Certified nursing assistant preferred.

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Night Shift, 24 hours per week, 6 a-6:30 p.

Essential Functions:

  • The CCT is a direct patient caregiver who assists patients with activities of daily living and provides nursing care to patients including phlebotomy and EKGs.
  • Providing patient care based on physical, education, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients in assigned service.
  • Providing for effective and safe patient outcomes through practice, judgment, and critical actions.
  • Ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding the status of patients' care.
  • Participating in collaboration of our patient's plan of care from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning.
