Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Multidiscipline Technician for Community Medical Center. Community Medical Center, a 592-bed acute care hospital, provides world-class treatment with hometown care and serves thousands of inpatients and outpatients annually.

The role requires a graduate of a Multi-Technical program with a high school diploma or GED, and BLS certification. Evening shift, 40 hours per week, with potential phlebotomy/EKG experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Multi-Technical program is required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) is required.

Responsibilities

• The Multidiscipline Technician is a direct patient caregiver who assists the Registered Nurse.
• Providing patient care, based on physical, education, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients in assigned service.
• Providing for effective and safe patient outcomes through practice, judgment and critical actions.
• Ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding status of patient's care.
• Participating in collaboration of our patient's plan of care from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Graduate of Multi-Technical program

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• BLS required.(American Heart Association)
