Job summary

Helms College in Macon, GA seeks a full-time Multi-Skilled Medical Assistant (MSMA) Instructor to deliver engaging instruction to students pursuing healthcare careers. This campus-based role requires a 12:00 PM–10:30 PM schedule, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday events.

The ideal candidate will combine clinical expertise with real-world experience to prepare students for industry certification and job readiness.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited medical program with a certificate, diploma, or degree.
Three (3) years of recent medical facility experience.
Certification or registration required or obtainable within 90 days of hire.
Ability to work afternoon/evening hours, including Saturdays occasionally.
Strong communication and passion for student success.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging instruction in accordance with the approved MSMA curriculum
Maintain classroom and clinical lab environments that promote hands-on learning
Provide regular feedback, guidance, and support to students
Participate in campus events such as open houses, graduation, and student enrichment activities
Maintain accurate attendance, grading, and student records
Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and a commitment to Helms College's mission
Ensure compliance with institutional, accreditation, and industry standards
Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student retention and completion
