UMass Memorial Health in Massachusetts is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MR scans for patients of all ages, following safety and quality protocols. Under the MRI Lead Technologist, you will position patients, input protocol parameters, monitor scanners, and document results in HIS/RIS/PACS.

This full-time, non-exempt role offers an evening shift (5 PM–11 PM), a 25-hour week, and potential signing bonus eligibility.

Competenze

Required: Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology.
Required: Registration or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Required: Advanced MR certification by ARRT with 90 days of employment.
Required: BLS Certification.

Mansioni

Obtains and records patient information and history; verifies orders and reviews lab results; adjusts imaging procedures per universal protocol.
Assists, transfers and positions patients; inputs protocol parameters; monitors computer function during examinations.
Performs venipuncture as needed and administers/ injects contrast media; prepares and manages contrast media.
Processes images to ensure quality; documents work in HIS/RIS/PACS systems.
Checks operation of equipment; maintains QC; ensures cleanliness and supplies.
Keeps up to date with MRI field changes via study, courses or professional organizations.
Prepares daily schedules and ensures radiologists' protocols are obtained.
Assists in other areas/modalities as needed.
