UMass Memorial Medical Group is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI scans under the supervision of Radiologists. You will handle patient preparation, contrast administration, and image processing, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and accurate documentation in HIS/RIS/PACS systems.

The position requires ARRT MR certification within 90 days, ARRT registration or eligibility, and an Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology, with a full-time schedule and potential

Formación

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Registration or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Advanced MR certification by ARRT with 90 days of employment.
• BLS Certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs MRI scanning to produce quality images to assist physicians in diagnosis.
• Performs related clerical and service duties and follows MRI safety guidelines.
• Assists in patient positioning and monitoring during examinations.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as needed; inputs protocol parameters and monitors computer function.
• Maintains equipment and ensures daily QC and room supplies.
