Job summary

MedStar Radiology Network in Timonium is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a part-time position at our outpatient imaging center. Schedule includes Monday–Friday 3:30 PM–8:00 PM with rotating Saturdays at the Bel Air location.

Under the Radiology Medical Director, you will perform routine to complex MRI procedures and ensure high-quality images for interpretation, while maintaining patient safety and ALARA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Up to 5 years experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Minimum Associates Degree in Radiology or equivalent.
• ARRT or ARMIT registration; MR registry within 12 months for IDTF centers.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures with high image quality and safety.
• Verify orders and document in patient records.
• Adhere to ALARA principles and safety guidelines.
• Educate patients and staff; participate in QA activities.
• Assist in clinical area preparation and equipment readiness.
