Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Part-Time MRI Technologist for evening shifts (Mon, Fri 5:00 PM-1:00 AM). The role requires performing MRI exams, ensuring image quality, and communicating findings to radiologists.

ARRT eligibility and CPR certification are essential, with registry advancement preferred. Two years of staff technologist experience is preferred, with at least one year specifically in MRI.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ARRT recognized education program or ARRT/ARMRIT registry eligible.
• Advanced MRI registry required within 1 year of hire.
• Two (2) years experience as a staff technologist preferred.
• 1-year experience as an MRI technologist preferred.
• History of computer usage experience required.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations on patients per department procedures under supervision.
• Communicate clinical observations to radiologists.
• Present patient history to radiologist as recorded.
• Demonstrate competency in venipuncture for contrast administration.
• Maintain knowledge of RIS/HIS modules related to job responsibilities.
• Assist in data collection for Radiology Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement.
