Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is recruiting a part-time MRI Technologist for the Lehighton campus.

The role involves performing MRI examinations, communicating findings to radiologists, and ensuring accurate patient data and high-quality PACS images. Applicants should have ARRT-recognized training, an advanced MRI registry within one year, and 2+ years of MRI experience with current BLS certification within 3 months of hire.

Qualifications

Graduate from an ARRT recognized education program.
Advanced MRI registry required within 1 year of hire.
Two years of experience as a staff technologist preferred; 1-year MRI technologist experience preferred.
Current BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Perform MRI examinations on patients according to department procedures and under direction of the Section Chief and Manager.
Communicate clinical observations to radiologists and present patient history as recorded to radiologist.
Demonstrate competency in venipuncture for contrast administration during MRI studies.
Assist with RIS/HIS modules and data collection for quality assurance/performance improvement.
Ensure high-quality digital images are sent to PACS and verify correct patient and medical record information.
