Job summary

St. Luke’s Warren Campus is seeking a Per-Diem MRI Technologist to join our team for Friday evenings from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM, with potential to cover shifts at other St. Luke’s locations across the Lehigh Valley.

You will perform MRI studies, assist radiologists, and maintain imaging quality and patient safety. Requirements include ARRT/ARMRIT credentials or registry-eligibility, advanced MRI registry within a year, and 1–2 years of MRI experience; BLS within 3 months of hire is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ARRT recognized education program, or ARRT/ARMRIT registered or registry eligible.
• Advanced MRI registry required within 1 year of hire.
• Two years of staff technologist experience preferred; 1 year MRI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations per department procedures under supervision of Section Chief and Manager.
• Communicate clinical observations to radiologists.
• Ensure accurate patient information and imaging data in PACS.
• Maintain patient safety and equipment readiness; participate in quality assurance.
• Provide patient education regarding the examination.
