Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist for Northwest Community Hospital. The role involves performing routine and specialty lab tests, ensuring accurate reporting, and maintaining instruments.

You will work Monday–Friday, with 3pm–11:30pm shifts and rotating weekends/holidays. Qualifications include a Bachelor's or Associate degree in clinical laboratory science and MLS/MT (ASCP) registration, plus at least one year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree/Associate degree in a clinical laboratory science or medical technology program from an accredited institution.
• Current MLS/MT (ASCP) registration or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of laboratory experience in high/moderate complexity testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and special laboratory tests and report results.
• Evaluate results for clinical significance and notify as required.
• Perform calibration, maintenance, and repair of instruments; identify malfunctions.
• Document quality control and quality assurance per protocol; take corrective action.
• Participate in proficiency testing and ensure accuracy of reporting.
• Perform specialty testing in chemistry, hematology, and coagulation.
