Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) - Blood Bank for Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights. This full-time role is 32 hours weekly with a 3pm-11:30pm shift and rotating weekends.

You will perform high complexity testing, manage specimen labeling and workflow, ensure quality control, and participate in staff training while upholding confidentiality and hospital standards. MLS/MT ASCP registration and 1 year Blood Bank experience are required.

Qualifications

• Current MLS/MT (ASCP) registration or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1 year MT/MLS Blood Bank experience in a hospital clinical laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Performs high complexity and moderate complexity testing as assigned, accurately and efficiently.
• Receives, labels, numbers, and routes specimens and associated paperwork.
