Job summary

Rosecrance in Champaign, IL is seeking an Engagement Specialist for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:30pm-12:00am) to provide mobile crisis response and engage individuals in behavioral health services. You will collaborate with the clinical team, document thoroughly, and support crisis solution development.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, RSA designation, a valid driver’s license, and a commitment to Rosecrance’s mission.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or higher education.
• Must hold a DMH designation of RSA (Rehabilitative Services Associate).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Agency insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide mobile crisis response services in the community when dispatched.
• Engage individuals hesitant to interact with behavioral health professionals through trust-building and resources.
• Participate in design, implementation, and evaluation of crisis solutions.
• Advocate for individuals with professionalism and collaboration.
• Provide appropriate behavioral interventions and advocacy for individuals with mental health needs.
• Ensure timely completion of all required documentation.
