Job summary

Rosecrance Moreland in Champaign, IL is seeking a dedicated staff member to supervise residents in a therapy-oriented setting. You will work 3pm–11:30pm Tuesday through Saturday, delivering behavioral interventions, supporting recovery, and ensuring documentation aligns with regulatory standards.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, educate clients on coping skills, maintain records in the electronic health record, and provide a safe, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must qualify as an MHP per Illinois Department of Mental Health Rule.
• Skilled in behavioral management techniques.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to quickly establish rapport.
• Computer proficiency required.
• Navigate and complete documentation in the electronic health record.
• Ability to complete required documentation within prescribed time frames.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency insurance.
• Belief in the mission and vision of Rosecrance.

Responsibilities

• Work hours prescribed and any additional hours deemed necessary; overtime may be required.
• Supervise and manage the behavior of residents and provide interventions.
• Implement therapeutic activities and support independent living skills.
• Educate clients on symptoms management and coping skills.
• Consult with staff and plan daily therapeutic direction for shift.
• May facilitate focal group discussions on co-occurring issues.
• Attend scheduled treatment plan reviews and meetings.
• Ensure client service records are maintained per rules and regulations.
• Oversee cleanliness of the house and equipment use.
• Serve as a team member and participate in meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality in line with professional conduct and law.
• Facilitate transportation to Rosecrance buildings or hospitals as needed.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to every client.
• Be a role model representing the agency.
