Endeavor Health in Naperville is seeking a Mental Health Associate I to provide direct patient care for patients with mental health disorders. The role includes treatment planning, group facilitation, and ensuring patient safety in an evening shift environment.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a behavioral health field or a related field, with or without behavioral health experience, and requires CPI and CPR certifications within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a behavioral health related field or equivalent.
• If degree is non-behavioral health, at least one year of behavioral health experience is required.
• Maintain information as highly confidential.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and seek supervision.

Responsabilités

• Facilitates didactic, educational and unit/program community groups in assigned treatment programs.
• Provides one-to-one supervision to ensure patient safety and completes real-time precautions records.
• Orientates new patients to unit and milieu and provides appropriate handoff information on borders from other units.
• Participates in treatment planning with interdisciplinary team and contributes to discharge planning.
• Completes patient, program, and department documentation.
• Performs clerical and administrative tasks to support department operations.
• Monitors patients’ progress and communicates updates to charge person and families.
