Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) such as bathing, grooming, hygiene, mobility, and meals.
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while maintaining dignity and safety.
• Assist residents in getting in and out of bed and in wheelchairs using safe techniques.
• Support mealtime service and tray delivery; clear tables after meals.
• Encourage participation in daily activities and maintain a neat, safe environment.
• Communicate any changes in condition to supervisors promptly.
• Assist activities staff with planned programs and outings.
• Maintain care sign-off sheets and assist new residents with orientation.
• Support medication aides as needed and follow universal precautions.
• Maintain a positive, respectful attitude with residents, families, and staff.
