Job summary

Trinity Health's Marjorie Doyle Rockwell Center in Cohoes, NY is seeking a part-time Resident Assistant (Aide) for evening shifts (3p-11p) to support memory care residents under LPN/RN supervision.

Qualifications

• Must possess patience, empathy and a genuine desire to help others.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in senior care, health care or assisted living preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility.
• Assist residents in taking medications as needed.
• Encourage and support resident independence and dignity.
• Monitor resident safety and well-being, reporting changes to the LPN.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and anticipate needs.
• Help with light housekeeping and meal service as needed.
