Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic Hawthorne Ridge is seeking a Resident Assistant (Aide) for memory care in a 66-bed assisted living community in East Greenbush, NY. The role supports residents with ADLs, medications, and daily living in a warm, respectful setting.

The position is part-time evenings (30 hours/week) with a focus on compassionate care, safety, and teamwork within the care team guided by LPN/RN supervision.

Qualifications

• Must possess patience, empathy and a genuine desire to help others
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience in senior care preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) in a respectful, compassionate manner
• Assist residents in taking medications as needed
• Encourage and support resident independence and dignity
• Monitor resident safety and report changes to the LPN/RN
• Help with light housekeeping and meal service
